Our Services

Connect provides a real-time AI voice translation and interpretation platform that allows users to communicate across language barriers during live calls, video conferences, and other audio-based communications. Our services include:

• Real-time voice-to-voice translation with under 500ms latency
• Speech transcription and captioning
• Voice preservation and voice cloning technology
• Integration with third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and others)
• Streaming and instant translation modes
• Speaker labeling and emotion transfer features

Connect is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By using Connect, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Property

All content, software, designs, trademarks, logos, and technology within Connect are owned by or licensed to Belora Labs, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes, but is not limited to, our AI models, translation algorithms, the Connect application, and all associated documentation.

License to You

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Connect solely for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our software or content commercially
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our platform
• Create derivative works based on Connect without written permission
• Remove or obscure any proprietary notices

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or transmit through Connect. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to process your voice data solely for the purpose of providing real-time translation. We do not claim ownership over your conversations or voiceprint.

User Accounts

To access most features of Connect, you must register for an account. When creating your account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Promptly update your information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access

You may not register using automated means or under false pretenses. We reserve the right to reclaim or change usernames that are inappropriate, deceptive, or in violation of these Terms.

Subscriptions & Payment

Plans

Connect offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (Standard and Pro). Paid plans provide higher usage limits, priority processing, and access to advanced features. Current pricing is available at belora-connect.com/pricing.

Billing & Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You will be notified of any price changes in advance.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. You agree to provide accurate and current billing information and to promptly update it if it changes.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period — you will retain access to paid features until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

Credits

Certain plans or add-ons may operate on a credit basis. Unused credits from your plan allocation do not carry over to the next billing period unless explicitly stated. Purchased credits do not expire while your account remains active.

Acceptable Use

Connect may only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Prohibited Conduct

• Use Connect to facilitate illegal activities, harassment, fraud, or deception
• Intercept, record, or monitor others' conversations without their knowledge or consent
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any disruptive code through the platform
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from Connect systems
• Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to abuse the service or circumvent rate limits
• Impersonate another user, person, or entity
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Connect without our prior written consent
• Use Connect in a way that disrupts, degrades, or impairs the experience for other users
• Attempt to bypass authentication or security measures
• Use Connect to compete with us or to build a competing product or service

User Content & Contributions

Some parts of Connect may allow you to submit feedback, reviews, or other content ("Contributions"). By submitting Contributions, you:

• Confirm the content is accurate and does not infringe on any third-party rights
• Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your Contributions to improve our services
• Agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful

We reserve the right to remove any Contribution that violates these Terms, without notice. You remain solely responsible for anything you submit.

Voice & Audio Data

Your privacy with respect to voice data is a core principle of Connect. Here is how we handle it:

Real-Time Processing

Conversation audio is captured locally, processed in real time for translation, and immediately discarded. We do not store, transmit, or retain your conversation audio on our servers.

Voiceprint

With your consent, we store a voiceprint — a digital model of your vocal characteristics — used to preserve your voice identity across translations and to power personalized features such as accent variants. Your voiceprint is retained while your account is active and deleted upon account closure. You may request deletion at any time.

Consent to Processing

By using Connect's voice features, you acknowledge and consent to the real-time processing of your audio data for translation purposes. You are responsible for informing any other parties in your conversations that translation technology is in use.

Third-Party Services

Connect integrates with and relies on third-party services to deliver its features, including AI providers, cloud infrastructure, and payment processors. A full list is available on our Subprocessors page.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services. Links to third-party websites or services do not constitute endorsement. When you interact with third-party services through Connect, their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Service Availability & Modifications

We aim to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to Connect. We may, from time to time:

• Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance
• Modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the service entirely
• Update these Terms — with prior notice for material changes

We will not be liable for any downtime, service interruption, or loss of access. Continued use of Connect after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Connect is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Guarantees that translations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for professional use (e.g., legal, medical)
• Warranties regarding the reliability or continuity of the service

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Belora Labs, Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Connect, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or revenue
• Translation errors or miscommunications
• Service interruptions or data breaches
• Unauthorized access to your account

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the six (6) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Belora Labs, Inc. and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of Connect in violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
• Content you submit or transmit through the platform
• Any unauthorized use of another person's voice or conversation without consent

Term & Termination

These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use Connect. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

Upon termination:

• Your access to Connect will be immediately revoked
• You may not create a new account without our express permission
• Provisions that by their nature should survive (including liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will remain in effect

You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@belora-connect.com.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your local law also apply.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally. Please contact us at legal@belora-connect.com with a description of your concern. We will try to resolve it within 30 days.

Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Connect shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. The arbitration shall take place in Lansing, Michigan, or remotely by mutual agreement.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Connect.

Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property infringement, privacy violations, or imminent harm.
